The apartment is part of an enclosed complex, in the village of Betlem, Mallorca. The complex is set between mountains and sea at the ruggedly beautiful northern end of the island. Although only within 25 minutes of the busy beaches and night life of resorts such as Pollensa, the luxury apartment is set in quiet countryside near the sleepy town of Colonia de Saint Pere with its busy marina and pleasant restaurants.

Palma is about 55 minutes away on a good road. Alternatively one can meander through delightful country routes as you cross the center of the island. The apartments is one of the most spacious and elegant in this attractive complex.

There is a pleasant restaurant Casa Blanca in Betlem with a pool, ideal for lunch.

There are supermarkets and shops in the local towns and larger shopping facilities are available in the resort town of Can Picafort. The market in Arta on Tuesday morning is particularly good.

Activities

For the sports enthusiast there are a range of watersports including sailing, windsurfing, scuba diving in the local area, and of course snorkeling from the cove behind the garden.

Other activities in the locality include horse riding and go-karting. There is also a beautiful coastal walk which leads to the restaurants of the pretty fishing village and marina of Colonia de Saint Pere. Keen golfers will be pleased to know that there are 5 top golf courses nearby. The Capadepera Golf Club is in a delightful setting, five minutes beyond Arta. The club house has panoramic views, welcomes non-members, both playing and non-playing and has a beautiful restaurant.

Palma is a most beautiful and historically fascinating city with its magnificent cathedral poised high above the harbour. It is an Aladins cave for the shopping enthusiast and has an international reputation for its restaurants. Further tourist information is readily available in the apartment.
